When Koleksiyon was established in 1972, it was a little more than an artisanal workshop, and thanks to the vision and drive of its founder Faruk Malhan, an architect, the company has grown in no time into an industry for design.

Today the brand is driven with creativity, innovation, and its unique know-how derived from the endless quest for perfection in details. The legacy of Koleksiyon has organically grown in years due to relentless researches with fellow designers, architects, academicians and professors in social sciences, to construct a new language to tackle the issues concerning our century and societies worldwide.

In the early years the focus was on living environments, however in years, a new industrial language coupled with a novel and creative portfolio for the workplaces and even for educational areas and for hospitality, to cater for many contract projects worldwide. As well a wide selection of design objects all edited by Koleksiyon are complementing the main portfolio today, under the headlines of tableware, carpets and rugs and lighting. Today a very wide spectrum of design pieces come together with the unique language of Koleksiyon.

Our clients for the workplaces range from; a small start-up that decides for the first step in business life, to all type of corporations that trust in us with their whole workplace setting, to governmental organizations or NGO’s etc. With a unique portfolio of her own, Koleksiyon has been serving to a wide client base worldwide through many projects and contracts.

And furthermore Koleksiyon presents a wide portfolio of designs for the living environment, that cater for individuals or families creating a home with all type of furniture, accessories, rugs, tableware, lights...

We aspire to create a dynamic, fluid and sustainable relationship with our times, historically, spatially and socially. Thus, collaborate with fellow architects, planners and designers to create working, learning and living places, that breathe and evolve continuously with the ever changing demands of the times.

Our main intention is to redefine the relationship between designer, architect, manufacturer, dealer, planner and the end user, by creating a dialogue among these entities in a contemporary way, to open new channels and platforms for a co-creative process.

This leads to a totally new language of design, that can take shape by active participation of many players, and having smart, economical, efficent, sustainable and even poetic designs to serve our society around the globe.

Involve fellow parties as active participant agents to our creation process, therefore achieve far sighted, economical, sustainable, and timeless designs.

Create solutions that are not fixed or calcified, but dynamic & fluid. Achieve even a greater economy in the coming times, when any change is needed. Any design selected would be, as well a valuable future investment.

Adapt easily to the altering needs of different customers and users, prioritizing their aspirations and purposes of work, therefore proposing unique solutions at each project.

Percieving the working, learning or living habitats as a performance platform, the intention is to bring out the best in every single individual, by letting space to breathe, by allowing alternative spaces for all to interact in their own fashion, manner or culture, therefore create a unique cosmos for them.
