Healing

Healing spaces as a social experience is a critical point of reference, while creating new spatial solutions with innovative design proposals as products. We see numerous spaces that are critically diverse and have crucially different priorities in the domain of heling spaces. However technically important each of these spaces are, there is still one critical denominator, that is the goal of healing. The concept of healing includes not only that of the patients resident in the space, but also all that we call caretakers as nurses etc and healers as doctors etc.

The idea of healing has many aspects that can not just be coined down by technical explanations. Viewing a tree from a patients room, hearing humms of the birds, prove more healing than some medicines. This factors includes the process of calming not only the patient but also their companion as families and friends, and even the attendants.

Direct contact with nature, such as the view, the greenery even direct exposure to sunlight is so crucial and central to the idea of healing, that this is the foundation of all our planning when imagining areas and furniture for such spaces.

As well, while embracing the concept of a new public space in healing areas, desking and seating solutions are oftentimes inseperable.

Areas of Lounge, consulting & Work in healing spaces

A seating arrangement in order to organize an efficient area to work while waiting or offer areas of consultation between patient and companions with doctors, is at the heart of the design decision and a critical factor and brief for such areas.
